This is achieved with meticulous planning, using the latest techniques and materials and some of the best dental technicians and ceramists in the UK.
Dr Peyman has had a keen interest in this latest development of dentistry and has put this philosophy at the heart of his dental practice with many courses in the UK, Europe and the United States.
The Biomimetic approach involves an understanding of how nature has evolved the structure of healthy teeth to bear stress and function in day-to-day activities. With this understanding, we seek to replace what has been lost with materials that mimic the physical properties of natural tooth structure, therefore giving us the closest final result to a natural tooth that we can create.
A core component of Biomimetics is providing minimally invasive treatments using the latest knowledge about tooth structure, the new advanced materials and bonding techniques available.
In taking a less destructive route to rebuilding and restoring the teeth, the fragile nerve within the tooth is protected as much as possible, therefore reducing the risk of the tooth needing root canal treatment. With modern adhesive technology enabling an additive approach to placing restorations, fillings can be far more gentle for both patient and teeth too.
Dr Peyman is proud to say the Biomimetic ethos is core in his approach to the delivery of patient-centred care. He has invested heavily in educating himself in this field and the adhesive equipment, to ensure precision and predictable restorations that look and perform to the highest level.
The Biomimetic approach is pertinent whether you are having a simple filling or complete mouth rehabilitation.
